Grief doesn’t require a death certificate. Loss of a person, a pet, a relationship, an identity, a future you expected to have, if it feels like grief, it belongs here. You don’t need to be newly bereaved, and you don’t need to be further along than you are. There is no timeline you need to fit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sessions are one-on-one, up to 60 minutes, and grounded in the Claire Bidwell Smith Grief & Loss framework, an evidence-informed work focused on meaning-making, identity, and the continuing relationship with whoever or whatever you’ve lost. Virtual sessions available nationwide and internationally. In-person sessions in Denver may become available in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

A death doula is not a medical provider. I don’t replace your hospice team or your doctors. What I do is fill the space they may not be able to, the emotional, practical, and spiritual work of preparing for death and moving through it with presence and meaning. Advance care planning. Grief, trauma, loss live in the body, not just the mind. Breathwork is a somatic practice that works with the nervous system directly, creating space for what words sometimes can’t reach. It can support emotional release, regulation, and a deeper sense of groundedness in the body.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am currently completing a 250-hour breathwork apprenticeship and will begin offering sessions upon completion. If breathwork interests you, reach out \u2014 I’m happy to talk about what it involves and whether it might be a fit alongside grief support or end-of-life work.<\/span><\/p>\n
