Who this applies to

These terms apply to anyone booking a session, package, or consultation with Antara Soul LLC, operated by Neera Maru, MPH.

Confirmation

Your session is confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation email. Please complete any intake form sent to you before your first session. Sessions will not begin until intake materials are received.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking for single sessions and à la carte services. Packages are invoiced upon booking and payment is due in full before the first session takes place.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

I ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. You may reschedule once at no charge with 48 or more hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are charged the full session fee. No-shows are charged the full session fee.

For community events and group gatherings: cancellations made more than 7 days before the event receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. Spot transfers are welcome — email hello@antarasoul.com with the new attendee's name before the event date. Policy is subject to change.

Late Arrivals

I hold a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled start time, we will use the remaining session time. After 10 minutes the session is considered a no-show and the full fee applies. If you know you are running late, please send a quick email to hello@antarasoul.com — I will always do my best to accommodate when I can.

Refunds

Single sessions are non-refundable once the session has taken place. For packages, unused sessions may be refunded with 7 days written notice to hello@antarasoul.com — completed sessions are non-refundable. Refunds are returned via the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Sliding Scale & Access

Reduced-rate slots are available for those experiencing genuine financial hardship. If cost is a barrier, please reach out directly at hello@antarasoul.com before booking. Do not self-select a reduced rate without prior conversation.

Changes to Services

Antara Soul reserves the right to adjust pricing, availability, and service offerings at any time. Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

What Antara Soul is

Antara Soul offers non-clinical grief support, end-of-life doula services, and breathwork facilitation. These are professional personal services grounded in evidence-informed frameworks and delivered by a trained, certified practitioner.

What Antara Soul is not

Antara Soul services are not therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, or clinical mental health treatment. Neera Maru is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, counselor, or clinical social worker. Sessions do not constitute a clinical relationship and are not a substitute for licensed mental health care, medical care, hospice care, legal advice, or financial advice.

Clinical referrals

If what you are navigating requires clinical mental health support — including but not limited to depression, trauma, PTSD, suicidal ideation, or complicated grief requiring clinical intervention — Antara Soul will support you in finding the right provider. Referral out is part of the work, not a failure of it.

Medical emergencies

Results

Grief and end-of-life support are deeply personal processes. Antara Soul does not guarantee specific outcomes. The work unfolds at your pace and in your own way.

What information we collect

When you use this website or book a session, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and any information you share in intake forms or contact forms. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are processed through third-party platforms (Breely and your chosen payment method).

How we use your information

Your information is used solely to provide services, communicate with you about bookings, and send materials relevant to your sessions. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Confidentiality

Session content is confidential. Limits to confidentiality include:

• Imminent risk of harm to self or others
• Suspected abuse or neglect of a vulnerable person
• Court order

These limits will always be discussed in your intake process.

Third-party platforms

This website uses third-party tools including Breely (scheduling), Fluent Forms (contact form), and WordPress (website platform). Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review their policies.

Cookies

This website may use cookies to improve your browsing experience. You can adjust cookie settings in your browser at any time.

Data retention

Client records are retained for a minimum of 3 years following the end of services, in accordance with standard professional practice. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@antarasoul.com.
